The bed of a bed panel rising and falling type is provided with a bed panel part 20 formed by connecting one side part and the other side part of a hip panel part 22 respectively to the leg panel part 24 and the back panel part 26 in a mutually rotatable state, a support body 10 for supporting the part 20, a roller 40 which is provided rotatably on the upper side of one side part of the body 10 and supports the part 24 in the neighborhood of a site where the part 22 and the part 24 are connected, a driving part 50 mounted to the lower side of the part 22 for standing the part 26 in the case of operation and the linking mechanism 60 which connects the lower side of the part 24 and the part 26 to rotate the part 24 downward centered on the roller 40 when standing the part 26, for making the leg lowering state.
