To provide a bell crank device and a bell crank unit which can suppress the transmission of water from a first transmission member to a second transmission member via the bell crank device.SOLUTION: A bell crank device 20 includes: a base portion 41; a bell crank lever 40 having a first portion 42 and a second portion 43 which extend from the base portion 41 in different directions and supported by a bracket 30 in a rotation manner; and a sliding portion 50 mounted to the bracket 30 for supporting the base portion 41 in a rotation manner. The first portion 42 has a first connecting portion 42a to which a first transmission member T1 is connected that is connected to a door handle and the second portion 43 has a second connecting portion 43a to which a second transmission member T2 is connected that is connected to a remote control device. In a rotational position of the bell crank lever 40 under a condition that a vehicle door is locked, if the first connecting portion 42a takes an upper position relative to the sliding potion 50, the second connecting portion 43a takes an upper position relative to the sliding potion 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
