PURPOSE: To ensure rectilinear advance and reverse with a small radius of curvature by providing bearings at both edges of a top edge part of a plate- shaped support plate to axially support ridging shape guide pulleys, and providing a supporting part which slidingly contacts the guide pulleys at the top of the support plate between the bearings.

CONSTITUTION: A guide device G which consists of a plate-shaped support plate 7 and guide pulleys 8 with small diameter at the reversed part of a conveyer belt 3, is provided. The guide pulleys 8 with small diameters are formed into a ridging shape, and arranged by means of bearings 31 which are provided at both top edges of the support plate 7 via a journal part 8a supported on the bearings 31. Besides, at the top edge part of the support plate 7 which is positioned between the bearings 31, a number of supporting parts 32, 33 are formed at appropriate intervals so as to prevent deflection of the guide pulley 8 which slidingly contact the outer circumference of the guide pulley 8. It is thus possible to restrict deflection of the guide pulley by the effect of belt tension and reverse with a small curvature radius without meandering.
