Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade changeable cutter suitable for precision cutting which can deliver blades simply by pressing a press button like mechanical pencils while holding the edge part of the blade on a cover body firmly without chattering.
SOLUTION: The cutter comprises a flat blade 1 with feeding holes 1b, arranged at a specified pitch along the length thereof, a slide member 2 adapted to feed the blade 1 forward by one pitch each and a holder 4 which detachably holds the blade 1 and is fixed on a cover body 3 retaining the slide member 2 keeping the blade 1 enveloped therein. The slide member 2 is provided with a feeding pawl 2a which is made to elastically engage any one of the feeding holes 1b of the blade 1 and an elastic press body 2b elastically fitted into any one of the feeding holes 1b while the push button 2c is formed at the rear end thereof being exposed to the outside of the cover body. This achieves a simple delivery of the blade by depressing the push button 2c.
