Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a conventional structure in which: an end lower side of a belt cover and bearing holding housing of a movable side unit is closed; the end lower side is supported by the movable unit by a support rod; heat from a heat generation source (motor "Ho" in Japanese Katakana notation, pulley "He" in Japanese Katakana notation and the like) causes the temperature inside the belt cover and bearing holding housing to rise (accumulate heat), and it has an adverse effect on the life of a belt and a bearing inside; and also, the structure and work become complicated as the end lower side is supported by the support rod.SOLUTION: A movable side unit open type blower is a cylindrical housing comprising a movable side unit for drawing out a bearing and an impeller to the outside, and a fixing side unit. The blower has a configuration in which a belt cover and bearing holding housing provided at a central part of the movable side unit and including openings on the upper and lower sides is allowed to reach the fixing side unit from the movable side unit. By utilizing the characteristics in which high temperature air and outside normal temperature air are interchanged by a convective flow by temperature difference, heat accumulation inside the belt cover and bearing holding housing is avoided.
