Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body structure for a railroad vehicle which is able to decrease the number of man-hours required to connect outer panels.
SOLUTION: The outer panel 1 is formed by rubbing down, stirring and joining multiple extrusion molding materials 2. The whole body structure is combined by extrusion molding a splice plate 3 in an extrusive manner before hand on the extrusion molding materials 2 locating at one of the side edge of the outer panel 1, and bolting another outer panel 1 with a rivet 4 through the splice plate 3.
