Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce computational complexity required for decoding in a Viterbi decoder, and to obtain excellent decoding characteristics.
SOLUTION: An input to the Viterbi decoder is controlled using a preamble for estimating a propagation path attached to an OFDM packet as an index. That is, an effective bit section is selected fluidly and properly from a value computed for the input to the Viterbi decoder by the power of the preamble for estimating the propagation path.
