CONSTITUTION: An egg is held vertically with an egg-holding hole 2 of the egg-holding plate 1. The yolk 3 is positioned stably at the center of the albumen 5 by the chalazas 4, 4', and a boiled egg containing the yolk 3 positioned at the center of the albumen 5 can be prepared by boiling the egg keeping the state. A beautiful and appetizing food can be prepared by cutting the obtained boiled egg. In the case of distributing the egg after removing the egg-shell, the rate of breakage of the egg can be remarkably lowered since the yolk 3 is held uniformly with the elastic albumen 5.
