Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device capable of improving posture stability of a vehicle in automatic brake control.SOLUTION: A brake device 1 for executing automatic brake control includes first and second brake liquid pressure circuits 11 and 12 for transmitting liquid pressure to wheel cylinders 61 and 62 of right and left front wheels FR and FL respectively, a brake actuator 2 that can adjust the liquid pressure supplied to each of the wheel cylinders 61 and 62 individually, a brake control part 3 for controlling the brake actuator 2, and a behavior detection sensor 4 for detecting a behavior in a yaw direction of a vehicle. The brake actuator 2 includes pumps P1 and P2 for pressurizing the liquid pressure of each of the brake liquid pressure circuits 11 and 12 in automatic brake control, and pressure regulating valves 21 and 22 for individually regulating the liquid pressure of each of the brake liquid pressure circuits 11 and 12. The brake control part 3 controls the pressure regulating valves 21 and 22 so as to pressurize the liquid pressure supplied to the wheel cylinder 61 or 62 with lower brake force based on the behavior in the yaw direction in the automatic brake control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
