Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake test machine in which the size and cost can be reduced.
SOLUTION: In the machine 10 for measuring the characteristics of a brake, a caliper holding means 13 holds the caliper of a bake 11. The rotor 14 of the brake 11 is fixed to a low speed rotary shaft 15, a high speed rotary shaft 16 is disposed in parallel with the low speed rotary shaft 15, and an inertial body 17 is fixed to the high speed rotary shaft 16. A deceleration means 18 transmits rotation from the high speed rotary shaft 16 to the low speed rotary shaft 15 while decreasing the r.p.m. and a drive means 19 drives the high speed rotary shaft 16.
