Title:
PRESERVATION OF COOKED RICE AND PACKAGED BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3724526
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain packaged body of a cooked rice capable of satisfactorily preserving germ-free cooked rice over a long period without causing deterioration of taste and having high commercial value.
SOLUTION: Cooked rice is preserved by using a multilayer body container having deoxidation property and provided with an intermediate layer 20 comprising an oxygen absorbing resin layer obtained by compounding a deoxidizing agent composition, an outer layer 30 having gas barrier property and composed of polymetaxylyleneadipamide or an amorphous polyamide or a mixed resin of both polyamides and an inner layer 10 having oxygen permeability This multilayer container having deoxidation property is excellent in deoxidation performance as well as gas barrier property. Since the multilayer container does not cause lowering of gas barrier performance even when exposed under high-temperature and humidity conditions, the oxygen-free state can be kept over a long period and the method is extremely suitable for preservation of cooked rice.
