Abstract:
To obtain vehicle information from a brake pedal.
This braking device for a vehicle for electrically generating a brake force based on an operation of the brake pedal 1 has a reaction force actuator 12 capable of applying a pedal reaction force to the brake pedal 1 and arbitrarily adjusting the pedal reaction force and is structured so that the pedal reaction force generated by the actuator 12 is adjusted to transmit information on the vehicle via the brake pedal 1. Thus, the pedal reaction force generated by the reaction force actuator 12 is adjusted, thereby transmitting the information on the vehicle to a driver via the brake pedal 1.
