Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep of any variation in braking force with fluctuations in air pressure, by installing a hydraulic control valve which controls the braking force by the air pressure in an air spring, and also installing an on-off valve, which is opened or closed according to feed or exhaust of the air pressure to or from the inside of the air spring and its stoppage, between these elements. CONSTITUTION:If carrying capacity of a vehicle is latered at a stop, a detection signal L or H according to height of a car level is outputted out of the level detector 9C installed in an air spring 9B of an air suspension 9. If so, a controller 13 opens a feed-exhaust valve 10 feeding or exhausting air pressure out of a tank to or from the inside of the air spring 9B via a conduit 4 and an on-off valve 20 interlocking with the former, adjusting the car level to the setting level. At this time, in a hydraulic control valve 19 to be interlocked with the inside of the air spring 9B via an auxiliary conduit 12 and the on-off valve 20, spring load of its set spring is adjusted to the value corresponding to the air pressure in the air spring 9B. And, the hydraulic control valve 19 controls hydraulic pressure to be outputted to a disk brake 17 to optimum conditions irrespective of pressure fluctuations in the air spring 9B.
