Abstract:

To properly compare brands, in a brand analysis method and device.

The brand analysis method includes processes: for requesting the number of articles regarded as corresponding to specific popularity or a consumption behavior state in a plurality of articles about a brand name designated by a user from an article analysis device to acquire it from the article analysis device; for acquiring industry model data corresponding to an industry name or the like designated by the user from an industry model storage part storing industry model data including the number of articles of a brand wherein the number of the articles regarded as corresponding to the specific popularity or the consumption behavior state of the respective brands belonging to the industry becomes maximum in each industry as a maximum article number; and for dividing a value of a logarithm of the number of acquired blog articles by a value of a logarithm of the maximum article number included the acquired industry model data to calculate a score about the specific popularity or the consumption behavior state to the brand name designated by the user.
