Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing sheet made of a highly corrosion resistant aluminum alloy which is capable of improving corrosion resistance and more particularly the corrosion resistance of a fillet part and is capable of prolonging the life of a heat exchanger as a result thereof.
SOLUTION: This brazing sheet has a core material 2 which consists of an aluminum alloy sheet material, an intermediate layer 3 which consists of the aluminum alloy sheet material, is formed on at least one surface of this core material and contains Zn and brazing filler metals 4a, 4b which are arranged on the outer flanks of the clad plate consisting of the core material and the intermediate layer and contains the Zn. When the Zn content of the intermediate layer is defined as A and the Zn content of the brazing filler metal arranged on the intermediate layer side of the brazing filler metals made of the aluminum alloy as B, A is 0.5 to 3 wt.% and B is ≤1 wt.% The sum of A and B is 1 to 3 wt.%, the thickness of the intermediate layer is ≥90 μm and the thickness over the entire part is ≤30%.
