PURPOSE: To obtain a broaching machine which eliminates reciprocating motion of a broach for each processing and mis-catch of a work, and is made compact to save space.

CONSTITUTION: A broach 15 in which a cutting edge 15b is formed on the side surface of a C-shaped member made by cutting a part of an annular body is supported rotatably by a rail supporter 18 in circumferential direction. A cut portion 15a of the broach 15 is set at a clearance 18a of the rail supporter 18 to obtain home position, and a work W is held in the clearance 18 by support members and a chuck 27. When the broach 15 is driven and rotated one turn by a drive gear 24 through an idle gear 22, it is inserted into a prepared hole H of the work W, gives broach processing onto the internal surface of the prepared hole H of the work W, and returns back to the home position. Also, it can give broach processing sequentially to the adjacent prepared holes by rotating the work W for positioning and similarly rotating the broach 15 one turn.
