Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an edge from breaking and getting damage by suppressing load applied to the tip edge of a cutting tip to facilitate orbiting of each top edge and biting on a material to be cut, and forming flow type chips easy to discharge to reduce cutting irregularity.
CONSTITUTION: A flank is formed on tips 7L, 7C, and 7R with steps in the cutting direction of an edge to make a cutting tip in which high and low cutting edges are formed on the steps.
