The delay adjusting command is generated not to perform delay adjustment when playback output is performed on the basis of the B-layer data BDV just after channel selection. When switched to the playback output based on the A-layer data AAV, the control unit 190 generates the delay adjusting command DAC to delay the B-layer data BAV for the time difference DLT. The delay adjusting command DAC generated in such a way is sent to a delay adjusting section 146.
