Abstract:

To provide a coating stripper capable of making a cut in a coating without exposing a charging part, and stripping the coating without using a pinching tool such as a pair of pliers.SOLUTION: A representative configuration of a cable coating stripper 100 according to the present invention includes a reception piece 300 and a pressing piece 400 for pinching a cable 10, and a clamp 200 for pressing the pressing piece toward the reception piece. In each of the reception piece and the pressing piece, two semicircular side blades 310, 410 which are perpendicular to the axis direction of the cable are disposed at both end positions of a stripping range. Further, in the reception piece and/or the pressing piece, a longitudinal blade 320 which is parallel with the axis direction of the cable is disposed at a position which is shifted from the axis center of the cable so as to prevent the longitudinal blade from being brought into contact with a conductor 12 located in the center of the cable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
