Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify the designe result by three-dimensionally expressing the behavior of rays, which approximates most the behavior of a real object, on a screen with a dummy three-dimensional(3D) optical model in place of a prototype.
SOLUTION: A model preparing part 10 prepares a 3D optical model 46, with which one or a plurality of optical components are located in an optical path from a light source to an image forming position. An automatic optical axis generating part 12 calculates behavior of the light beams based on prescribed setting parameters with the generation of an optical axis model to the 3D optical model 46, the behavior of the light beams is displayed on the 3D optical model 46 and verified and further, a character or the like prepared by the model is printed out.
