Abstract:

To prevent such a trouble as residual liquid scatters at the time of wiping operation following to suction sequence or the liquid adhering to a wiper used for wiping operation thickens to cause incomplete wiping in next wiping operation.

The cap 2100 for liquid drop ejection head is arranged such that holes 2103 and 2104 interconnecting the inner space 250 of the cap and the atmosphere are provided in the vicinity of two adjacent angles 2113 and 2114 on the substantial square bottom 2110.
