PURPOSE: To enable carbonizing treatment of the wast such as a tire and plastic products in a short time by applying the carbonization accelerating agent composed of carbon on an industrial waste and subjecting the waste to pyrolysis and carbonization by irradiation of a magnetic wave in a vacuum atmosphere.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of carbonizing the wast tire, the wast tire coated with the carbonization accelerating agent composed of a pulverized carbon is thrown into a pyrolysis furnace 1. The pyrolysis furnace 1 is connected successively to a radio wave generating device 2 through an incombustible gas generating equipment 3 feeding the incombustible gas to prevent ignition, and by irradiating the wast tire placed under a vacuum atmosphere with the magnetic wave generated here, the wast tire is thermally decomposed and carbonized. The generated gas at this time is sucked by the actuation of a suction pump 6 and liquefied by a cooling equipment 4 on the way, and a liquefied gas is recovered in a liq. recovering tank 5. As the carbonization accelerating agent, further, the material compounded with an iron powder, carbon and vermiculite, etc., is used.
