PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly carry out a fuel inflow into a float chamber in accelera tion and a deceleration in the case of providing with a valve and valve seat at a front of a moving direction of a vehicle as well as providing with the valve and valve seat at the rear of the moving direction. SOLUTION: In a carburetor in which a valve 28 and a valve seat 30 are provided before a float 20 in a vehicle moving direction, a suction port 34 is provided before the float 20 in the vehicle moving direction, the float 20 is held so as to be capable of rocking by a float arm 40 which is provided at a rear part of the float 20 in the vehicle moving direction, the valve 28 is held so as to be capable of rocking by an arm 26 for closing valve seat. The float 20 is provided with a pin 36, with which a free end of the arm 26 for closing valve seat is supported, and vertical move of the float 20 is transferred to the valve 28 via the pin 36 and the arm 26 for closing valve seat.
