Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card issuing machine capable of issuing only a card which is given 'propriety' decision showing high probability that data processing is normally performed by deciding whether or not the card is normal in advance.
SOLUTION: IC cards housed in a card housing part 1 R are fed by a card feeding mechanism 2 by one card at a time and carried along a carrying path by a card feeding means 3. This card issuing machine is provided with a data processing part 4 which performs data processing of the data recording part of the card R to be carried and can decide whether or not the data recording part is propriety. The card issuing machine is also provided with a selection mechanism 5 for selectively removing a card R to which the data processing is not normally performed by the processing part 4 and a card R about which the result of deciding whether or not the card R is propriety is either normal or not. The cards R ejected by the selection mechanism 5 are collected into a card collection box 6.
