Abstract:
PURPOSE: To speedily find out illegal shopping-around to continuously perform transaction processing less than a lower limit amount with the card of any multiple debtor customer or any stolen card, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A controller 2 is provided with a shopping check file 8 for storing the total of transacted amounts per day for each card. When transaction data are inputted from a CAT and the transacted amount is less than the lower limit amount, retrieval at the check file 8 is performed together with retrieval at a negative file 7 and when the accumulated amount of the relevant card is stored, this accumulated amount is updated with the transacted amount this time. When this updated accumulated amount exceeds a previously decided fixed amount, card data are transmitted from a high-order communication part 9 to respective card companies.
