PURPOSE: To make possible to transmit data by one processing device and handle plural cards by dividing a memory area into plural sections in initial setting, designating data to be stored in the divided area and transmitting data read by a reader to a calculating center designated for each area.
CONSTITUTION: The controlling section 11 of a card processing device is constituted of a ROM 11-1, a RAM 11-3, an input/output circuit 11-4 and CPU 11-2. The memory area of a storage section 16 is divided by initial setting made by operation of a key board 15 connected to the circuit 11-4, and data to be stored in the area are designated. Data etc. read by a magnetic card reader 12 are stored in designated area of the storage section 16. Data stored in the storage section 16 are transmitted to a calculating center designated by the RAM 11-3 from a transmitting section 17 by control of a controlling section 11. Thus, handling of plural cards is made possible.
