To provide a carrier which is used for a vertically moving device for nursing care, and can give a comfortable lying feeling to a person to be cared, and also, can vertically move the person to be cared under a sitting state, or the like.

This carrier for the vertically moving device for nursing care is vertically movably suspended by a suspending body at least at four locations under a state wherein a person is laid. In such a carrier, in a mat body 14 or on the under surface of the mat body 14 having cushioning property, at least three flat frame bodies 16, 17 and 18 are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction. Also, the flat frame bodies 16, 17 and 18 are connected in such a manner that the adjacent frame bodies are turnable to each other. In addition, a section 10 to be engaged, which is engaged with the suspending body, is provided at least at four locations. In this case, a pair of the sections 10 to be engaged, which correspond with each other in the width direction, are made a set, and the sections 10 to be engaged are distributed on the different flat frame bodies 16, 17 and 18.
