To provide a carrier capable of improving the stability and the efficiency of work such as transportation of a loaded article and carrying work, with a simple structure.

The carrier has a placing portion 12 on which the loaded article is placed, a transporting portion 12d provided on a first side of the placing portion 12 and transporting the loaded article, and a handle member 14 provided on the opposite side to the transporting portion 12d of the placing portion 12. A cutting portion 16 provided at a middle of the handle member 14, and a hinge member 17 attached to both sides over the cutting portion 16 and to which a tip end part of the handle member 14 is coupled so as to bend to the opposite side to the placing portion 12 are provided. The handle member 14 is equipped with a cylindrical slider 18 slidably covering the cutting portion 16 and preventing the bending of the handle member 14, and an operating portion 26 coupled to the slider 18.
