Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the thickness of a cash register having an integrated scanner and improve the operability at the time of money reception.
CONSTITUTION: This cash register is provided with a main body case 7 having a longitudinal flat part 7a which has a vertical operation surface facing a cashier and a slanting part 7b which is positioned above the longitudinal flat part 7a and slants having its rear higher. Operation display parts 8 and 9 are arranged at the slanting part 7b and the read surface 12 of the scanner is arranged vertically within the operation surface. Further, a drawer 11 which is positioned between the operation display parts 8 and 9 and scanner 13 and can be opened facing down at a tilt angle conforming with the tilt of the operation display parts 8 and 9 and has its front-side end part positioned within the operation surface at the closure time is arranged in the slanting part 7b.
