Title:
LOW POWER CONSUMPTION DIODE CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3631529
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a circuit based on a low power consumption diode function by providing a comparator for comparing the anode voltage of a diode with its cathode voltage and a switch for electronically connecting the anode and cathode of the diode.
CONSTITUTION: When the voltage at anode wiring 101 of a diode 130 is equal to, or lower than a prescribed forward voltage which is higher by 0.25 mV than the voltage at a cathode wiring 102, a comparator 110 outputs a low logic level signal to an output line 115. When the voltage at the anode wiring 101 exceeds the voltage at the cathode wiring 102 by the prescribed forward voltage, a high logic level signal is outputted to the output line 115. When the output line 115 of the comparator 110 is set at the low logic level, a switch 120 is turned in a cut-off position. On the other hand, when there is a high logic level signal on the output line 115, the switch 120 is changed to be conductive, and the anode wiring 101 is electronically connected with the cathode wiring 102. Thus, a diode circuit 100 is turned conductive.
