Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion protein comprising a molecule, in particular a polypeptide, more particularly an amino acid sequence derived from a serpin polypeptide or a serpin polypeptide and a second polypeptide.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided an isolated fusion protein comprising at least one human serpin polypeptide operably linked to a second polypeptide. Here, the second polypeptide comprises at least one the following: an immunoglobulin Fc polypeptide or an amino acid sequence that is derived from an immunoglobulin Fc polypeptide; a cytokine targeting polypeptide or a sequence derived from a cytokine targeting polypeptide; a WAP domain containing polypeptide or a sequence derived from a WAP domain containing polypeptide; or an albumin polypeptide or an amino acid sequence that is derived from a serum albumin polypeptide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
