Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ShK-based pharmaceutical composition to treat, prevent and/or alleviate symptoms associated with diseases and disorders in which memory T cells play a role, including autoimmune diseases and metabolic disorders.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a pharmaceutical composition suitable for diagnostic use in vivo. Here, the composition comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of a ShK polypeptide having a specific sequence. Here, the ShK polypeptide binds to a detectable label and an organic or inorganic chemical entity having an anionic charge. The C-terminus thereof is an acid or an amide. The composition further comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the ShK polypeptide. The ShK polypeptide binds to an organic or inorganic chemical substance having an anionic charge, and the C terminus thereof is an acid or an amide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2-1
