Abstract:
To provide a cellulose acylate film having good contrast when incorporated in a liquid crystal display device as a phase difference film and low in manufacturing cost.
The cellulose acylate film contains cellulose acylate and a sugar ester compound and is stretched at Tg-5°C to Tg+10°C (wherein Tg is the glass transition temperature (unit: °C) of the cellulose acylate film) in a state not once heated to Tg-5°C or above and characterized in that the whole haze is 1.0% or below and internal haze is 0.1% or below.
