Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower having improved blowing efficiency and reduced noise by improving the shape of the front edge of each blade.SOLUTION: The centrifugal blower according to this invention has blades 13 formed so that, when a shroud side vicinity of a front edge 13A of each blade 13 is a first region S1 and the other section of the front edge 13A is a second region S2, a connection point P1 between the front edge 13A in the first region S1 and a shroud 12 is located on the further outer periphery side than the front edge 13A in the second region S2. The front edge 13A in the first region S1 has an air flow dispersion recess 130 including a first face part 131 which is apart from the inner peripheral face of the shroud 12 toward a hub 11 starting from the connection point P1, and a second face part 132 which is connected through the hub side of the first face part 131 to the front edge 13A in the second region S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
