Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter module excellent in heat resistance and corrosion resistance and also having high precision.
SOLUTION: This ceramic filter module is comprised of a cylindrical filter 1, an outer jacket 2 for surrounding the filter 1 and a sealing material 3 for sealing the end part. In a method for producing the ceramic filter module, a module assembly is formed by using a base material of the sealing part, which consists of a porous body of SiC, the porous body of SiC is impregnated with a fused material of Si in an inert gas (e.g. nitrogen gas) to make it dense, the sealing material 3 is formed and the cylindrical filter 1 is fixed to the outer jacket 3.
