Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic sheet which is used as a constituent ceramic sheet of a ceramic stack formed by stacking up a number of ceramic sheets, that a large stacking load or thermal stress is applied to, such as electrolyte film for a platelike solid electrolyte type fuel cell, and in which cracks or flaws are hardly caused even when such a large stacking load or thermal stress is applied on it.
SOLUTION: This ceramic sheet is provided on its surface with dimples each having a ≤100 μm height measured by irradiating the surface of the ceramic sheet with a laser beam and subjecting the reflected beams to three- dimensional surface topographic analysis with a laser-optical three-dimensional surface topographic measurement instrument, and has excellent crack resistance and superior cleavage resistance with respect to a stacking load or thermal stress, applied on the sheet. The production process of the ceramic sheet is also disclosed.
