Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the shock generation of a material-testing machine when the control mode is changed while the material-testing machine is maintained to be in operation during the execution of a fatigue crack growth test.
SOLUTION: When a control mode is to be changed a feedback FD signal for allowing the actuator mechanism of a material-testing device 10 to be subjected to feedback control and a target value signal DS, the feedback signal FD is maintained as it is without changing and the target value signal DS is switched, thus using the amplitude detection value of physical quantity that is detected immediately before the control mode is changed and is set to a control target after the control mode is changed as the amplitude target value of the physical quantity after the control mode is changed, and allowing the amplitude of the target value signal to be subjected to feedback control. When the control mode is to be changed, the feedback and target value signals maintain complete continuity, thus completely eradicating anxiety where the material- testing machine generates shock.
