Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an extraction of a spatial characteristic high in discrimination force with respect to a noise characteristic and robust in an Affine mapping image.SOLUTION: A local characteristic area detection unit 10 is configured to, as to an input image, detect each of local areas and normalization coefficient, and a local characteristic calculation unit 40 is configured to calculate a local characteristic as to each of the local areas. A location vector calculation unit 50 is configured to calculate a location vector with respect to each of tuples of the local areas, and an Affine normalization unit 60 is configured to normalize the location vector of the tuple using the normalization coefficient. A characteristic output unit 70 is configured to, as to each of the tuples, synthesize the local characteristic calculated as to each of the local areas and the normalized location vector to be output as a spatial characteristic corresponding to the image.
