PURPOSE: To prevent surplus account due to mistake that occurs when charge information is transmitted, by extracting and storing charge information from transmitted information by an information processing device, and comparing this with charge information received from the information processing device of an opposite side.
CONSTITUTION: The charge information collecting and processing mechanism ZA of an information porcessing device A extracts charge information of a communication line (a) direction necessary for accounting from an information transmission packet transmitted in a line (a) and accumulates in charge information area Cia in a call controlling memory CMA. It also extracts charge information of an information processing device B direction from a packet transmitted to a device B, and accumulates in area Cia'. The charge information collecting and processing mechanism ZB of the device B extracts directon charge information and A direction charge information and accumulates areas Cib and Cib' in the memory CMB, respectively. After finishing the call, the device B sends charge information in areas Cib and Cib' to the device A. A comparator mechanism XA of the device A compares charge information of (b) direction and B direction. When b<B, it is decided as correct, and charge information of (b) direction and (a) direction is transmitted to an information processing device C for a charge processing.
