Abstract:
To provide a charging system capable of performing charging control appropriate for a battery.SOLUTION: In a charging system, a charging device 50 transmits a charging device ID to a BMU 30 by changing a previous current flowing between itself and a battery 20 through a charging cable 70 before the start of charging via a previous current switch 57. Then, the BMU 30 acquires the charging device ID. This enables the BMU 30 to identify the charging device 50 to which the BMU 30 is connected via the charging cable 70, and to also transmit a battery ID of the battery 20 being monitored by the BMU 30 to the charging device 50. Thus, the charging device 50 can identify the battery 20 connected to the charging device 50 via the charging cable 70, enabling charging control appropriate for the battery 20 to be performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
