Abstract:
To provide a radiation detector which can achieve both increased area of a radiation detection area and enhanced resolution of radiographic images, and to provide a manufacturing method of a radiation detector, and a scintillator panel unit.SOLUTION: A radiation detector 1 comprises: a sensor panel 2 with a light reception surface 2a; first and second scintillator panels 10, 20 arranged next to each other along the light reception surface 2a on the light reception surface 2a; and an adhesive layer 3. The first scintillator panel 10 comprises: a first substrate 11; and a first scintillator layer 12 having a plurality of columnar crystals and extending to a first portion 11b of the first substrate 11. The second scintillator panel 20 comprises: a second substrate 21; and a second scintillator layer 22 having a plurality of columnar crystals and extending to a second portion 21b of the second substrate 21. The adhesive layer 3 is continuous over the first scintillator panel 10 and the second scintillator panel 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
