Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip dropout preventing tool which can be used for preventing dropout of chips produced during indirect hot-line work with a tip tool including a knife part while considering safety in the work.SOLUTION: A chip dropout preventing tool 2 comprises: a cylindrical connection part 10 which is externally fitted to a place where a knife part 100 of a hook-type knife 1 is fixed; an erected wall 11 erected along the knife part 100 from the cylindrical connection part 10; and sliding plates 12 and 13 arranged to penetrate the erected wall 11. The erected wall 11 includes an opening 16 for projecting a blade part 103 of the knife part 100 and is formed to cover a periphery from the vicinity of the blade part 103 side of the knife part 100 to a ridge part. The sliding plates 12 and 13 are placed on both sides of the knife part 100, are disposed almost parallelly by leaving a prescribed space with a side face of the knife part 100, and slide almost vertically with respect to an extended direction of the blade part 103 of the knife part 100 and almost parallelly with respect to the side face of the knife part 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
