Abstract:

To provide a chip removing mechanism which has a simpler structure and can be downsized and a chip exchanger having such chip removing mechanism.

The chip removing mechanism 3 is equipped with a lever-operated lever 13 which is inserted bweeen a shank 9 of a welding gun 7 and a chip 11, a main unit 14 to which the lever is connected, and a movable supporting means 18 which is disposed between the lever and the main unit and oscillatably and slidably supports the lever with a single shaft. The movable supporting means 18 is equipped with a cam roller means including cam rollers 19 disposed at a ratio of one per side of the lever-operated lever and a cam groove means including cam grooves 21 disposed at a ratio of one per cam roller formed in the main unit. Also, the cam grooves extend in a linear form.
