Abstract:
To provide a cold rolling method for cold-rolling a steel plate with both sides thereof having excellent quality in a single drive type cold rolling mill, and a cold rolling mill suitable for manufacturing a steel plate with both sides thereof having excellent quality.
In the cold rolling mill having at least a pair of upper and lower work rolls, the torque during the rolling operation applied to each drive shaft of the upper and lower work rolls is measured, and lubricating oil is independently fed in an optimum amount to the upper and lower work rolls according to the measured torque.
