PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus be used for a chip separating and supplying apparatus of a conventional tape type and eliminating a human labor by feeding to charge chips one by one in chip charging recesses of an endless tape.
CONSTITUTION: A lever 5 is synchronously pressed down while charging chips (t) in chip charging recesses 6 of an endless tape 2A by a one-chip feeder B, and a gear 4 with a ratchet is rotated at a predetermined angle to drive the tape 2A at one pitch of pitch holes 3. The chip (t) in the recess 6 is sucked by a suction head 7 at a home position, moved on a printed board, and mounted at a target position. Thus, when the shape, the size, etc., are formed to match those of a chip separating and supplying apparatus of a conventional chip tape reel type, the apparatus can be used by setting in the chip mounting apparatus using a conventional apparatus as it is.
