PURPOSE: To reduce the number of display lamps, achieve cost reduction and reduce troubles by providing a shield device which shields one of display windows in cooperation to changing over of an optical reproducer and a magnetic recorder- reproducer.

CONSTITUTION: In the cine projector which is selectively usable the optical recording film in which audio signals are optically recorded and the magnetical recording film in which they are magnetically recorded, the switch 9 for selection of recording mode and reproducing mode is operated by an operating lever 8a by way of a turning member 8. When the changeover knob 5a of a projecting mode changeover switch 5 which selectively changes over the operation of the magnetic recorder- reproducer and optical reproducer is moved along the panel 14, a shield plate 13 moves in cooperation to this, by which the light from the normally lighting optical reproducing lamp 11 is passed through a through-hole 13a or 13b, and this turns out that the display of the display window 6 or 7 is selectively displayed.
