PURPOSE: To provide the titled comps. forming films excellent in resistance to mar and chemicals, weatherability, and surface slip characteristics on plastic materials, comprising a particular epoxy group-contg. organosilane compd. silane compd. surfactant, and curing catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: 20W80wt% epoxy group-contg. organosilane compd. of formula I (wherein R1 is an org. group having an epoxy group; R2 is H, a 1W6C hydrocarbon group; X is a hydrolyzable group; a is 1W3; b is 0W2, wherein a+b≤3) or partial hydrolyzate thereof (e.g., γ-glycidoxypropyltrialkoxysilane), 15W75wt% silane compd. of formula II (wherein R3 is R2; C is 0W1) or partial hydrolyzate thereof, 5W20wt%, as a surfactant, polyoxyalkylene sorbitan fatty acid ester or polyoxyalkylene sorbitol fatty acid ester having an HLB value of 10W17, and 0.01W5wt% curing catalyst (e.g., ZnCl2) are dissolved in a solvent (e.g., alcohol).
