Abstract:
To provide a code reader and a program that can increase the scanning efficiency in a clipping state.SOLUTION: The code reader according to an embodiment includes: a camera having an imaging sensor with a plurality of imaging elements, the camera taking an image of a symbol attached to a product; determination means for determining the position of clipping on the image sensor on the basis of modification information when the modification information for modifying the set position to clip of the image sensor is input; and image processing means for performing image processing on the symbol on the basis of the image of the image sensor related to the determined position of the clipping.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
