Abstract:
To provide a bobbin treatment device capable of automatically discharging a yarn feeding bobbin which is not properly set on a tray while preventing positioning of a yarn end from being performed to the yarn feeding bobbin.SOLUTION: A bobbin preparation device comprises a sensor, a yarn end preparation device, a bobbin discharge device, and a control device. The sensor detects whether or not the height of a yarn feeding bobbin which is set on a tray and is conveyed corresponds to an abnormal bobbin having a height equal to or higher than a threshold value. The yarn end preparation device pulls out and positions a yarn end from the yarn feeding bobbin. The bobbin discharge device discharges the yarn feeding bobbin. The control device performs control for avoiding positioning of the yarn end by the yarn end preparation device when the yarn feed bobbin fed to the yarn end preparation device is an abnormal bobbin, and control for executing discharge of the yarn feeding bobbin by the bobbin discharge device when the yarn feeding bobbin fed to the bobbin discharge device is an abnormal bobbin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
