Abstract:
To restrain a coil component such as a transformer, a choke coil, a current sensor, a common coil and the like from varying in inductance.
A lead wire 4 is wound on a bobbin 3 for the formation of a coil 2, and a pair of E-shaped cores 6 and 7 is fitted to the coil 2 to form a closed magnetic circuit. A piezoelectric body 10 is so provided in the cores 6 and 7 as to enable a gap to be increased or decreased in length G1 by applying a voltage to the piezoelectric body 10. By this setup, the coil 2 can be regulated in length G1 of the gap in the closed magnetic circuit or inductance taking advantage of a piezoelectric effect induced by applying a current to the piezoelectric body 10.
